Aims and Objectives

Systematic and Applied Acarology Society aims at 

promoting the development of acarology in the world and 

fostering the cooperation and exchange of information among acarologists in different countries. 

These objectives are achieved through its flag journal

Systematic and Applied Acarology (and associated awards such as McMurtry Award for outstanding contributions to acarology),

its online Acarological E-reprint Library, 

and its symposia (organized occasionally).
